Studio notes · A short guide

Materials & finish

Texture, colour and visible layers are part of the conversation. The right choice depends on the actual object and its intended use.

A finish is more than a colour.

Expect a printed surface

Layer lines and small variations can be part of 3D printing. Ask about the expected surface, orientation and finish for the specific design.

Match material to use

Heat, UV light, water, mechanical load and repeated movement affect suitability. We do not assume food-contact, outdoor, load-bearing or child suitability.

Use colour references carefully

Screens, lighting and material batches can change how a colour looks. A wardrobe illustration is not a swatch or a verified fabric specification.

Ask about the details

Discuss dimensions, assembly, detachable parts and any material care needs before committing to a print.
